Italian Sausage Bean Soup

 

1 lb. hot Italian Sausage (bulk, not links)

1 onion, chopped

1 clove garlic (or garlic powder equivalent)

1 ~14 oz. can stewed tomatoes

1 ~14 oz. can beef broth

1 can black beans

1 can great northern beans

1 can butter beans

1 tablespoon basil

 

Cook sausage with onion and garlic.  Drain if necessary.  Add remaining ingredients and simmer about 20 minutes.  Add more tomatoes if desired.
